Effects pedals made by a musician, not an engineer. I started 3Leaf Audio in 2008 with this mindset and it’s still the overriding philosophy in my work. It’s not enough for something to sound good in theory – it has to sound great on the gig or in the recording studio, and that’s where I test and tweak my pedals. I’m a bass player first and foremost, but I design my pedals to sound great on bass and guitar (and keyboards, harmonicas, washboards and whatever else you can throw at them). I make pedals to get me closer to that elusive perfect tone – I hope you like them too.
